Wedding at Fausko

Fausko is the town for barn weddings and weddings in country style.

Farm environment and log house with atmosphere and historic sustenance is a great setting for weddings. In addition to a unique wedding barn, Fausko has 24 rooms and beds for up to 80 people.

We offer three-day event

The first evening, preferably Friday, to bring the guests together with barbecue and local food in the festival tent on the Amphitheater or around the fire in Årestugu.

Saturday morning it can be nice with a small mountain walk on foot or on skis.

After the weddings, the guest house is prepared for the party where Fausko offers aperitif with farm food specialties of cured meat, sausages, dried trout or Baked salmon, local cheeses and own “Fausko-champagne” of birch leaf extract, sparkling water and preferably some gin.

Fausko is an approved as a place of marriage

There are various alternatives for marriage at Fausko.

The area at Fausko Amfi has been approved as a place of marriage, both by church and by municipality.

For weddings that falls under other institutions, marriage at Vavtan and Fauskostølen in Vabuleino can be an alternative.

The farmer and host at Fausko, Knut Fausko, has our musician at countless weddings, and has various music and cultural offers for weddings:

Music to the marriage with the wedding march.

Festive music, often together with other musicians.

Culture program where Knut draws the wedding guests into folk music and storytelling about the customs in the old peasant weddings. This goes well in Årestugu Friday night, or by an aperitif to the wedding party itself on Saturday.

Barn wedding

The wedding barn at Fausko has an atmosphere in authentic barn environment, stylish with long tables and benches with sheepskin.
