Hostel:
The buildings at Fausko have a lot of flexible solutions, which include both larger and smaller apartments which can be used as self-serving hostels.

Pension:
Fausko has, with 24 rooms, capacity for 80 overnight guests. Almost all rooms have their own shower.
Hotel standard in cabin style with creative solutions to fit old wooden buildings.
Our beds are classic, and rustic made, with soft mattresses for a good night sleep and our bathrooms have heated stone floors.

Skysstasjonen

“Skysstasjonen” has 260 m2 space divided into two stories. With 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms as well as 3 smaller sleeping quarters (it has 20 bed). The building can be divided into two apartments. The larger at 150 m2 and 12 beds and the smaller at 90 m2 with 8 beds. It also features a cozy outdoors area with access to outdoor fireplace, grill and wood-fired hot tubs.

The second floor is well suited for larger events with a spacious pantry kitchen and a dining hall with serving capacity for 60 people.

“Skysstasjonen” is a beautiful wooden hotel in the swiss style build in 1870. The building is one of the oldest guesthouses in Hemsedal and is preserved on both an architectural and cultural-historical ground.

Hallingstugu

“Hallingstugu” has an area of 320 m2, divided in to two stories. It features a spacious hall, kitchen and preparation area. It also has a large Livingroom with a long table, couches and a fireplace. It has 10 rooms, with space for 30 guests.

“Hallingstugu” is a traditional farmers house, made from pinewood in 1998. It also has a cozy outdoor area with veranda as well as access to outdoor fireplace, grills and wood-fired hot tubs.

At the bottom floor there is small apartment with 4 beds, and it is also here Fauskos office and administration is located. Next to the office there is also our conference room “Drivstugu” with modern facilities and two group rooms.

Kornmagasinet

“Kornmagasinet” has an area of 90 m2, divided into to stories. The first floor has a cozy hall, two large bedrooms and two showers. It also has two large bunkbeds, with can accommodate 4-6 guest.

Second floor has two Livingroom’s with beautiful long tables and a small kitchen. If need be, the larger rooms be used as sleeping hall with space for 4 beds. Kornmagasinet has a total of 12 beds.

Apartments

Apartments on the lower floor in Hallingstugu: 25 m2. One large room with 4 beds, couch, kitchen with dinning table, hallway and shower.

Apartment on the lower floor in private house: 55 m2. 6 beds in two bedrooms with an option for extra sleeping space in the Livingroom. Kitchen, bathroom and hot tub.

Brureburet

Even if Fausko is an attractive wedding venue, it does not have a wedding-suite in the original sense. Instead Fausko offers a “Brurebur”, a small but very cozy and beautiful room, which fits perfectly for the wedding night. It features an extra-large and lovely bathroom.

“Brureburet” is originally a small storage room, which together another little storage room features a kitchen corner, sleeping quarters and bathroom, as well as loft with 4 beds. In addition, a “middle room” has been constructed with two bed and shower. The whole quarter which is called stabburet, which includes the brureburet fits 10 people.
